THE MONTE CARLO E-TYPE

Aesthetically beautiful yet stunningly quick, this 1962 E-Type convertible was one of two E-Types (the other being a hard top) that were purchased from new and proudly displayed in a Ferrari car showroom in Naples, Italy for many years.

A private enthusiast subsequently bought the convertible and had it shipped to his home in Monte Carlo for a complete nuts ‘n’ bolts restoration in the UK before being sprayed in champagne – paint, that is, not the fizzy stuff. This unique print - one of a very limited edition of nine - celebrates perhaps the most elegant and efficient shape ever to grace a motorcar.

It’s worth noting too that the V-shapes in the background are, in fact, taken from the converging diamonds featured on the coat of arms of the Principality of Monaco.

THE PRINT

This signed print is one of a limited edition. It’s recorded on Hahnemühle stock via a large format mimeograph and generally referred to as Giclée prints of premium quality. The paper is white 100% a-cellulose with a distinct textured surface and the premium matt inkjet coating more than meets the highest industry standards vis-à-vis density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness, while preserving the extraordinary touch and feel of genuine art paper. The editions depicted on Iconic Reserve are not representative of scale and solely for the purpose of suggestive display.
